Before it starts raining again (the forecast predicts another week of straight rain), I thought I'd show the view out my backyard earlier this week. I think this is a new record for the cherry tree. That brilliant blue sky is exactly as it was this morning (no photoshop tricks- I promise!). I think hibernation is almost over.

Seriously. Unfair. We just hit with a pile of snow.
Definitely unfair. Amazingly beautiful... but unfair. :) The only thing on our tree right now is a sap bucket.
Well... just think of those extra months of weeding, raking and pruning I have to contend with!
And yes- you're cold enough to actually make use of that sap bucket!
