After featuring the pipe organ, celtic harp and brass during our 36 days of Christmas, it was time for some strings. There are probably hundreds of orchestral pieces that I could have featured here- the Boston Pops' iconic version of
Sleigh Ride, The London Philharmonic's
Angels We Have Heard on High,
Gesu Bambino, or Yo Yo Ma's beautiful
Silent Night. But since today is Christmas Eve, I've chosen something a little different. Here is the Orchestra at Temple Square accompanying Angela Lansbury in the reading of the Christmas Story.
